Four Manitoba Scaler’s Licence Refresher Sessions will be held in Manitoba in 2018. Sessions will be held in Steinbach, Swan River and The Pas on the dates listed below. There is no fee to attend the one day licence refresher. The fee for the Manitoba Scaler’s Licence, which is valid for five years from the date of issue, is $50.00 payable by all candidates who apply for a Scaler’s Licence following the successful completion of the scaling refresher session. Registration deadline is August 1, 2018.
Travel costs to and from the refresher and all meals and lodgings are the responsibility of the candidate. Approved hard hats, high visibility vests, safety boots and glasses along with clothing suitable for field work must be supplied by each candidate and are mandatory. Class size is limited and participants will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
